Head Unit: Pioneer DEH-6300UB
Media Source: Western Digital 80GB USB hard drive
Main Amp: Polk Audio PA660 75x4 at 4ohm
Sub Amp: Polk Audio PA880 300x1 at 4ohm
Tweeters: MB Quart Formula 19mm
Midrange: MB Quart Formula 6.5"
Midbass: MB Quart Premium 6.5"
Subs: (2) Pioneer Champion 12"
Wiring: Scosche 4- and 8-ga power and ground, 16-ga speaker, twisted pair signal
Sound Deadening: Stinger Roadkill Pro

Notes:

Tweeters are mounted in modified sail panels, 90-degrees off axis, firing directly at each other across the dash.

Midrange drivers are in the factory front door openings, decoupled on aluminum spacers and sealed with closed-cell foam.

Midbass drivers are in custom kick panels.

Amps are mounted under the front seats.

Hard drive is mounted behind the glove box and secured to the dash support.

Pics:

I don't particularly care for these subs, there are far better out there, but they will do for now. They do give me a nice massage.

Future Mods:

By the end of the summer (with any luck) the two 12" subs will be replaced with two 15" Kicker Comps. I am limited by available amp power, 500w at 2ohms. The Kickers have 90dB sensitivity and require only 250w. The high sensitivity and the increased cone area should be a gigantic improvement, quite literally. They'll be mounted in a custom enclosure that will be built IN the trunk, vented and tuned to 35Hz.

Also still to come is an outboard processor, likely either a Fosgate 3Sixty.2 or an Audison Bit Ten.

I am a bit new to the whole car audio scene. My current setup consists of a Sony CDX-GT565UP 8EQ receiver

It's amazing what this thing did to my audio. The stock unit made everything sound muffled. When I replaced it with this unit, even the stock speakers sounded 4x better than before.
I also have a pair of Pioneer TS-A6994R A-Series 6"x9" 5-Way 600 Watt speakers in the deck. I plan on popping in some JBLs or Alpine speakers in the front doors, and replacing the tweeters with some cheap Pioneers... Oh, and an Amp, of course. Looking for a good brand at a good price.
